Allison’s contemporary abstract paintings reflect a colourful and intuitive response to city living. With a background in fashion and textiles Allison draws inspiration from the body with focus on the rhythms people create when gathering - series Being. While series Prana Flow steps further into the abstraction process reducing forms and developing texture thus in turn creating a kind of urban mindfulness as people and place merge.
